Came in for lunch. It was just before 11 so they weren’t busy at all. There was one customer before me but I ordered through the app. My food was prepared and I decided to eat at the location. I had the Cabana sampler. The taco was hot and flavorful. There were some problems though. The beans seemed chunky, had a sour taste and smell. We’re they from yesterday? I don’t know but they weren’t fresh. Also the guacamole was more brown than green. I know it oxidizes but again this seemed like it was leftovers. Being one of the first lunch customers of the day I expected better on the side items. There were 3 staff members all busy working but didn’t really attend to any customers at the front. Boxes were stacked in the food window and even added another layer blocking the workers from the front counter.
You can't go wrong with these street tacos. I would choose these tacos any day of the week when compared to some over priced tacos from Velvet Tacos. They do military discounts 👍
The customer service at this location is great. Our food was okay but not very good, however, and the food was much better at the location we used to go to.
The fault is that of the owner/management alone. There was a grand total of 3 people working, 3.5 hours after the location was open. The 2 ladies were working the kitchen, the drive-thru, and the register/counter, while the guy was wondering around and then just watching the tortillas come out of the machine. Understaffing, and overworking the on-duty staff (that were actually working) at a location like this is just bad management and bad business. When I arrived, the ladies were doing their best to keep up with online orders, like mine. While I was there, the line at the counter and drive-thru got backed up to the front door and around the front of the building. Even though the lady was taking orders both in person and on her headset. The person in line behind me commented, "This is why I got away from this type of business. I hated seeing some people being worked to death for the same money as that guy, who's gettin' paid for just standin' around". I will not be back to this location, simply because I will neither contribute to overworking the people who are doing their job, nor to paying someone who thinks he should get paid just for showing up and standing around. Which is too bad, because the people that I shared the Breakfast Tacos with said they were really good. Since you asked for a details and my suggestion about how you could improve, I added the above statement to my rating. To make the statement clearer for you. Get rid of the lazy people that you are paying to stand around, hire people who want to work, and increase the number of staff per shift. If you stop cutting staff to save money and show profits, invest in quality staff, and improve the customers' experience, the bottom line will take care of itself. You should know that this is coming from a fellow business owner. Stop being greedy. Start being better.
This was a pleasant surprise. I had never been to this chain before. A friend wanted to meet there for lunch. And I was really surprised it was very good for the money especially. But you do get that quality food very quickly
