Very wonderful customer service, I’m new to the school and the young lady was very helpful in helping me get all the items I needed. I did have to backorder a couple things but I still left the store with uniform for my son to wear. I arrived way after the back to school rush but glad to know for next time that they have sales early in the summer and an amazing 4 month return policy
This place is a mess! Stay away from this store if you can. They have the WORST customer service. I went in the Addison store in the beginning of August to purchase polo shirts for my child. They were completely out of the performance polos in my child’s size and color needed. I asked one of the employees if they would be getting anymore in soon and his response was basically you’re out of luck. I was flat out told that they would not be getting anymore in our store since “it’s the end of the uniform season.” I was told I could purchase the polos online, but it would be 2-4 weeks before I would receive them. I asked if they offered any rush shipping and they said that it wasn’t even possible. I placed the order and tried calling customer but that number doesn’t exist. You have to email them and then ask for someone to call you. I had Matt Risse call me and he was very unprofessional and dismissive in his tone. Upon calling me, he introduced himself as just Matt instead of saying this is Matt Risse, Head of Customer Service at Risse Brothers Uniforms. Anyway, he didn’t really apologize for the fact that they didn’t stock enough polos for my child’s school. The only thing he could do was send me a polo shirt in the wrong color. I accepted it knowing that my child wouldn’t wear it since it’s the uncool color with the kids at his school. I told him that this is the worst experience I’ve ever had buying uniforms for my kids in the last 10 years and that I wasn’t happy. He didn’t seem to care and was ready to get me off the phone. I patiently waited 4 weeks for the shirts and never heard a peep from Risse Brothers. I emailed Matt Risse to check on the status of my order and he said that they were being mailed out of the Addison store on 9/5 and that I should be receiving a tracking number. I never received any tracking number and I emailed Matt Risse again on 9/10 to see why I haven’t received any tracking. He never emailed me back. I got to the 5 week mark and I decided to go inside the Addison store to get some more information about the status of my order. The clerk was very unprofessional and not very forgiving the fact that they over promised and under delivered. He was able to pull up some tracking information saying that it was out for delivery and they shirts were mailed out of NJ not the Addison store. The employee basically told me that it was my school’s fault for not communicating to Risse Brothers that they changed the rules and now allowed now both boys and girls to wear this type of polo shirt. He went on to say that my child’s school doesn’t allow for the arm band on the polo shirts like the other schools do and that is also why it takes so long. He was incorrect in saying that since all of the polo shirts that I finally received today all have arm bands. On top of the horrible customer service experience I noticed that the store was a complete wreck. There were bags and some uniforms thrown on the floor. I can somewhat expect that during back to school season, but we’re now past that and the store is just as messy.
You would think they would learn their lesson to order more uniforms next year since they always run out but no they didn’t. The service is horrible and we placed an online order that said it would take a week. It took a month until we called and were like hey are we going to get the uniforms. The employee said that they were still getting shipped. We called the next day and asked the manager and he said they are using stamping logos. It took another week for them to get here but it wasn’t even the right shirt since the manager didn’t order enough since he still can’t understand that he needs to order more every year. Horrible. Just horrible!
I attended a Risse Brothers uniform event at my daughters’s school in July, 2018. At that time, they were sold out of the sizes I needed, so I paid for my merchandise and I was told my items would be shipped to my home the following week. All but 1 item was shipped, as the navy skirt I had ordered was back ordered. I called Risse Brothers 2 months later when I had not received the skirt or been contacted by anyone. I was told that headquarters only shipped inventory to stores when they had enough demand for a specific size that it was worth doing. And, at this point, they had no idea when a skirt that size would be sent to their location. I asked for a manger to call me back to discuss next steps and options. No one called me back. The following week, I called again and spoke to a store manager. I was told that he would call me back later that day after he verified what inventory was being shipped to their store. It is now one week later and I have not received my skirt or a call back from anyone. But this entire time they have had my money, but will not give me any idea of when or if they are going to fulfill my order. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I would recommend you get your uniform elsewhere. I will be speaking to the Headmaster of our school to see if we can contract with another company for our school’s future uniform needs.
Our school just switched from Parker to this place and it has the same supply issues as Parker did. After the second week of placing my order and not seeing a ship confirmation, I filled out their “contact us” form online, I emailed them directly, and I called. No response. I finally went into the store the week before school started and they had one of the skirts I ordered in stock, as well as the shirts I had ordered. How in the world do they have inventory and I have not received ANY of MY order? They said the rest of my order would be in the following Wed., and it would be next day delivery to me. It is Saturday now and guess what? No uniforms. Again, I went to the store and got the standard, “The truck should arrive at the store next week.”. This place is ridiculous.
