PLEASE DO NOT EVER BUY DOG FOOD FROM THIS LOCATION . ESPECIALLY IF YOUR DOING A MOBILE PICK UP ORDER . I placed an order for pick up meaning I did not pick out the bag of food myself . I picked it up, fast forward a week or two (50lbs bag) there were LITERAL MAGGOTS CRAWLING IN MY DOGS FOOD . When I checked the bag IT WAS EXPIRED !!! I went on the app to see when I had purchased it and the expiration date was before my purchase date . THEY ARE NOT DOING ANY QUALITY CHECKS ! When I called the location AND CORPORATE number on the dog food bag I was only offered an exchange of the dog food and a $5 coupon from corporate which is literally a slap in the face .while I still have to cover a $200+ vet visit bc my dog is now at risk of parasites and/or infection bc GREEDY BUSINESS COMPANIES WANT TO BE NEGLECTFUL. I am very disgusted and upset .
Thank you Nehemiah! We love Petco at our household! Will never shop any other store. I came into the belt line location on 04/12/2025 after getting my dog a bed a couple of days prior which she managed to destroy in one night. I called Petco and they told me to me bring the bed in store so they could do something about the situation. I was helped by Nehemiah in store and he was the kindest and most understanding representative. He swapped the bed out with not a single issue. Thank you so much Nehemiah. Your work ethics are sincerely appreciated.
Always a great trip Petco is a friendly place for all who enter. I love the choices of all pet needs and the staff always knows the answer. My fur baby loves everything I buy from Petco.
Their staff needs some customer service training - Bethany or something I forgot her name but shes the older woman with short hair but she was so rude about 2 customers its a pet store sometimes people will bring their pet in ESPECIALLY if they offer groomer services as well as check ups and obviously they'll shop for their pets before or after their appointments there was this yound man who's cat happened to escape and Bethany was so upset about it , it was an accident kittens are so energetic so it wasn't his fault his kitten escaped but there was no need for her rude comment saying "thats why they should keep an eye on their cats" or something like that and then before check out she was talking to Tiffany about another customer she was pretty upset that they had brought their dog in and was talking a whole bunch of mess about the customer to Tiffany. Honestly if the staff is gonna be inconvenienced by people's pets maybe they shouldn't be working at a pet store
the self bath area is a bummer. i could not even dry my dog with their dryers. i would not have gotten my dog wet to begin with. the water pressure was a light garden hose. i have been to atleast 15 throughout Texas. first petco, and the last place self bath area in my 2 years of bathing my own dog. i only expect a minimum, but not the very bare in an obvious new location ! will not return !
