Clean place, looks pretty new. No carpet. Variety of food was a bit limited, just 2 types of sushi and no hibachi. Only 1 flavor of soft serve ice cream, which is vanilla.
We lived in the area 10 years ago and it used to be way better back then. The buffet barely had any food and when they did refill it was very small batches and nothing really tasted fresh. The string beans were the only think that was good and the ice cream. Used to be a family favorite but not anymore. Will not be back.
If this is the same place I visited about eight to ten years ago, it has gone downhill in multiple ways. I remember having a fabulous and filling meal here when the place was buzzing. I came on a whim today, and the food did not taste like it was prepared with much passion. The orange chicken was not nearly as flavorful as I remember; same with the kimchi. The chicken tasted either low-quality or old. It was dirty and disheveled everywhere but the dining area. Some good dinner rolls were the meager highlight of my experience, which I value at less than half the price I paid.
I went for the first time and I asked if I could take a look before making a decision as some buffets can be less than appetizing. I was confidently told to go ahead and I wasn't disappointed as it looked very fresh and stocked well. It was clean and the food tasted very good in comparison to some other Chinese food buffets. I would recommend this place if you like Chinese food and are on the hunt for a "GOOD" Chinese buffet. No hibachi in case you're wondering.
Hey this place has the best spare ribs I've ever eaten. It's been 40 years since I've had spare ribs like these. The s & s chicken has a wonderful breading on there that is soft yet crispy. Pretty good place in north Dallas
