Diagnostic for check engine light on 6/7/22 recommended new radiator and thermostat. Trusted the staff and approved the replacements, did not have time for a second opinion. Paid over $1300 dollars. Literally less than 10 days later 6/17/22 check engine light came on again only 120 miles later. Returned to Firestone hoping I'd be covered under warranty or decency. Turns out I needed new spark plugs and ignition coil, but I wasn't advised that 120 miles prior. Charged twice for diagnostic and a fortune for parts and repairs and have serious buyer's remorse. Unethical for the same company to misdiagnose, charge twice for diagnostic and claim no responsibility. I would not recommend getting repairs done at this location unless you have unlimited funds. The first diagnosis was incomplete but I am the one who paid for the mistakes, not Firestone. Avoid this place and you will save hundreds, and in my case I would have saved thousands. Would rate 0 stars if allowed.

Took my jeep to this Dallas location for alignment. In and out in no time. The service was great and the guy knew what he was doing. Jeep now rides like a caddy and no warning lights on at all. Thanks!
My engine light came on and the car was making an awful noise so I took it to Firestone on Sunday morning. I called to check on my car on Monday. No idea of what was wrong. I called on Tuesday afternoon. Still no idea what was wrong. The game plan was to let the car cool down and every 4-5 hours they would start it up again and try to pinpoint where the noise was coming from (apparently the noise went away when the engine warmed up). They said it could take up to a week to pinpoint the problem. I asked if they had done any research on known issues for my make and model of car. The manager became indignant and told me that they were going to immediately pull his mechanic off of it and that I should take my car elsewhere. Toyota of Dallas diagnosed the problem and got a part on order within 48 hours. My experience with Firestone was not a good one. I would not recommend this place.
