El Sinaloense in Addison makes Aguachiles so good that they will make you smile. I discovered this place while driving by. This is the 4th stop on my quest to find the best Aguachiles near me. The restaurant is bright and open. They have lots of large tv’s all around. It kinda felt like being in an empty nightclub. I visited around 2pm on a Friday. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I started off with a Frozen Pina Colada. It did not taste like coconut very much. It tasted more like a vanilla drink with rum. I tried a drink called a Malibu. It wasn’t my cup of tea. I ordered the guacamole and it was flavorless . Im a big fan of tableside guacamole. This wasn’t. My friend tried the ground beef taco plate. I tasted them and it was lacking salt. Rice and beans were nothing special . I ordered the Fish Ceviche and the Aguachiles Verde for my meal. The ceviche was very disappointing. The fish was salty and tasted like frozen fish from the grocery store. Still, the aguachiles were by far the star of the show. The presentation was enticing and the smell was intoxicating. I think I may be building up a tolerance to the heat in the dish . The sauce is made with Serrano or habaneros salt , cilantro, with lime juice . The dish was definitely very hot but it was not painfully hot. The shrimp tasted fresh. The sauce had flavor but did not taste sour. All the ingredients came together harmoniously. I think I have found my new go to spot for Aguachiles. I rate their Aguachiles alone a 4. The other food we ordered was bland. I totally recommend this place. If you want delicious Aguachiles Verde, mosey on over to El Sinaloense Addison. I know that I will be back soon.
This is a place that you come to drink and enjoy the atmosphere and music not the food. I would say this place is pretty overpriced and I felt like I was getting ripped off quite frankly. Then again it is about the experience here. I got the ceviche it was okay, also got the enchiladas decent but the beans were spoiled or something was so awful and bad the WORST refried beans I’ve had in my entire life.
Honestly this place has some of the best food I have had in the past, but some other dishes are just too simple and salty! Let’s start with the Aguachiles Mazatlan , this are the Best Aguaicheles I ever tasted! The 7 Mares soup was good but some of the items in it were old and salty, the oysters and crow fish tasted old, and the crab legs were just too salty! Now the tostada de pulpo asado was very simple with no flavor at all. Probably Octopus is not meant to be fried! And the micheladas are way too simple no flavor at all, just tajin and ice basically! And is else a little Pricey! The service is pretty good! Last but not least the chips and salsa are very basic, the chips taste like cheap oil, and the salsa is just plain salsa with no flavor!!
Food was excellent, the service, superb gracias a William por atendernos de lo mejor. First time here and it did not disappoint. We got here early so we missed the band but other than that a great experience. 10/10
This is not the place to go in any way. The quest was watery and yellow like fake velvets cheese. The ships are out a bag and not fresh and the drinks might as well have been non alcoholic. Save your time and money. The bartender on the other hand was very nice and the drinks were pretty, just very weak
