There is a ton of construction going on right outside of this hotel, which makes the location pretty difficult to get in and out of. I know it's not a long-term thing, but it still impacts my thoughts about the place. Also, the front of the hotel doesn't really even look like a hotel when you pull up, which is a bit odd. The staff were great, and their service was excellent. I had breakfast both mornings and the food/coffee was excellent! Check-in was a breeze, and they did a good job with the cleanliness. My biggest complaints about the room was the toilet was extremely small and had a misfitting seat on it. Additionally the bed was really worn, with a large sag in the middle from wear. Its not a bad place, but we'd probably look around at other options next time to see if there was anything better around.
Clean Affordable stay fairly close to town. Dallas like all Texas cities has a lot of sprawl, but Addison is located 15 min from downtown and close to a ton of great eating and shopping. Made for the perfect place for a short 2 day stay. This courtyard seemed to have a recent lobby renovation which is clean, spacious, and modern. Checkin was efficient with a friendly staff and minimal wait. Parking is a bit spread out as this property doesn't have many floors but plenty of entrances to get in. Rooms were very spacious but your typical courtyard basic fare. Beds were comfortable enough, bathroom was a good size, and furniture seemed to be in good condition. Not much of a view except the interior courtyard which had a nice sitting area and pool. Gym was very nicely sized though, wifi worked fine, and nothing was broken. Definitely a good budget stay.
Stayed two nights last week while in the area on business. Front desk as well as breakfast staff were all very kind and helpful. Breakfast was good. The area was pretty decent with many food choices within a five minute drive. The fitness center was pretty decent offering cardio, weights, and cable machine. My room was dark and very dated. I could clearly hear the lady talking on the phone next door. I could also hear the TV next door as well. The thermostat in the room was very old, not offering a “constant fan” option to minimize the usual clunking noise as the compressor cycles on and off throughout the night. Needless to say, I didn’t get much sleep. If you aren’t a light sleeper you might find this hotel ok.
Room was clean. Bed was pretty comfortable but on the harder side. There was a starbucks/Cafe in the lobby so they did not have complimentary breakfast, hot water, or coffee in the lobby and they did not have tea packets in the room. The staff was very friendly.
Clean affordable . QUIET Great Location but would be even better if not for all of the construction going on but that's no fault of the hotel. I like that they have patio access I got a patio room. The View isn't the greatest of course but it's still a nice option to have. Fyi doesn't serve complimentary breakfast. You must pay for it. I decided to go out for breakfast so I can't speak on price or what they serve here. I had issues connecting my tablet to the wifi. First time ever having an issue with a Marriott place. Phone connected fine but not tablet. Called the front desk and based upon the error that I read him he said he would have the server reset but I never could connect my tablet the entire stay.
