I was excited about finally visiting this black owned spot. Finally did a week ago. I am not an expert on extensions in any way, so I always ask the store Associate for help. I told the young lady about the style I was getting. Which was a sew-in. I showed her the picture so she could see what I was referring to. We talked about the hair and I made a purchase. Almost $200 worth of hair. I got to my hair appointment and my stylists showed me i got braiding hair instead of sew in extensions. I went to exchange the hair today, knowing they wouldn't do a refund most stores at least do an exchange. I saw the girl that helped me and reminded her of our conversation. She said she could ask the owner for the refund but the owner was stonewalled at saying no. I then asked the girl if she could tell the owner that it was her fault(the associate) because she put the wrong hair in the bag. She actually showed me the correct hair in the bag and I took it out and felt it. And we discussed texture. I then told her that was the hair I wanted but then I wanted to look at the clip ins which i bought. But in between me looking at the clip ins and her ringing the sew in hair up she actually wrong up the braiding human hair. The 2 issues are, I thought i could trust the store Associate to point me in the right direction to purchase the correct product for the style. I was wrong. The second issue is there is no Accountability. Anytime someone says they never do exchanges or returns that takes away accountability if they are wrong or sold a faulty product. I'm hurt because the store Associate probably was too scared to tell her boss she messed up and I'm also hurt because I spent a lot of money here and I feel like I got screwed over. It really sucks because I'm a single mom and value every dollar and nothing can be done. Like I said, I'm not an extensions expert so i always ask for help. It sucks. Now I have human braiding hair that I don't know what to do with. I HATE that I wasted over $100 dollars. It really bothers me. No one should be in business that can't be held accountable and just take people's money. It really hurts.
Nay customer service was amazing! Very helpful, acknowledgeable, respectful to all customers and friendly service. I needed an item that was not on the shelves and BOOM. She professionally spotted an alternative when all hope was lost. This was my 2nd visit and WILL be back! Keep up the good work! 🤎
I found this place on IG and was happy to stop by and support a black owned business. Very clean and great service. I initially went in there for something else but they didn't have it but I picked up some magnetic lashes and a body oil that smells amazing. I can't wait to go again.
