How do you select the homes that receive the mailer?
We work with verified local address databases and USPS routes. For the New Mover Mailer, we use verified data on actual new residents within Addison and the immediate surrounding areas. Also, using our database sources, we know a lot of the demographics of the homes, such as them being above a certain income level. These demographics aren’t guaranteed, of course, since databases can sometimes have inaccurate information in them. However, we have found our sources to be extremely reliable.
How soon will my ad go out?
That depends. If you’re the first business to reserve your spot, it may take a little longer than it would for the last business to claim the final spot on the card. In general, as soon as we get a card filled, our printer goes to work. We typically get the cards back in roughly a week. From there, we send them out right away!

Is there a limit to how many businesses can participate?
Yes. Here are the limitations:

- Since ad sizes can vary, to keep things uncluttered and effective, the number of spots available on the Standard Coupon Mailer can vary anywhere between 14 and as many as 20 spots per mailing.
- Only 1 business in any business category is allowed per mailing. We will NOT put competing businesses on the same card. (See exceptions below.)
New Mover Coupon Mailer Limitations
- There is only one ad size on the New Mover Co-Op Coupon Mailer. To keep things uncluttered and effective, the number of spots available is 18 spots per mailing. No more. No less.
- Only 1 business in any business category is allowed per mailing. We will NOT put competing businesses on the same card. (See examples of possible exceptions below).
Exceptions To The “One-Business-Per-Category” Rule (Examples)
- Two competing real estate agents (or brokers or companies) want to be on the same mailing. One chooses to do an ad promoting an Addison Deal for commercial real estate and the other promotes an Addison Deal for residential real estate.
- Two Addison auto repair shops want to promote an Addison Deal for their respective shops. One promotes an oil change service, while the other promotes a transmission service.
- Two car dealers want to be on the same mailing. New car dealers for different brands might be allowed. Another possibility would be if one promotes an Addison Deal for new cars and the other for used cars. This would be allowed.
